Campbell, Alice W.

Alice W. Campbell is digital outreach and special projects librarian at Virginia Commonwealth University Libraries. She serves as researcher and project manager for The Social Welfare History Project, the Image Portal, and the Freedom Now Project, and has created numerous online exhibits for VCU Libraries. Her work includes Gods and Prophets, Sages and Saints: Religious Imagination in Popular Culture, Tom Robbins: an Imaginative Life, Encampment for Citizenship: Education for Democratic Living, James Branch Cabell: Man of Letters and Libraries, and numerous “History in Your Hands” exhibits exploring archival materials. Campbell holds a M.A. in Art History from the University of Virginia, and an M.S. in Library Science from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill.
