Shepherd, Sarah H.

Sarah H. Shepherd is a graduate student at Simmons University for her M.S. in Library Science and M.A. in History. Her master thesis explores queer gender expression, sexuality, and community belonging in early modern West Virginia. She is also conducting a study to investigate faculty perspectives on accessibility in course creation, and the perceived barriers to universal design. As an archivist, she works to expand access and equity in archives. Shepherd earned a B.A. in History and Anthropology from Goucher College in 2018. Her research has been supported by a VCU Publishing Research Award.
